Doris Rohr
How would you define yourself?
teacher, writer, drawer and artist

Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.
I am interested in Ruskin’s approach to drawing and its continuous relevance in our age of environmental anxiety and loss of biodiversity. My own practice involves drawing, writing and the spaces in between; a paper-based practice that addresses landscape, memory and the complexities of nature. I am editorial board member of Intellect Journal Drawing Research Theory and Practice and a member of the collective art group The Drawing Journal.
Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?
To connect with like minded thinkers, practitioners and teachers sharing an interest in John Ruskin's legacy and believe in his relevance for our times. To learn and be surprised.
